In the short animation film, written and directed by Sinem Sakaoglu, we are watching Tareq while he tries to prepare a birthday gift for his mother away from his home, but this time with his new friend. We also recognize significant cultural heritage assets of Aleppo while Tareq is telling his story.
This film, which is prepared in Arabic and Turkish dubbings, have been screened in important national and international festivals and continues to be screened in different countries. It is rewarded Liv Ullmann Peace Prize and took the Best Animation 2nd Place at the Chicago Children’s Film Festival.
