Zeyna and Aziz – Syria Trip
As we accompany Zeyna and Aziz on their journey to Syria on a magic carpet, we become acquainted with the cultural life in Syria and familiarize ourselves with the cultural heritage sites in the region.In cooperation with Pages Bookstore, “Zeyna and Aziz: Syria Trip” is designed and written by Gulnar Hajo. Two different versions of the book are prepared in Arabic-Turkish bilingual format – for early childhood and for 8-12 year old children -, and the printed books have been shared free of charge with civil society organizations and community centers for over a year. Hadia
In this story, we accompany a 6-year-old Syrian boy Tareq in his adventure towards establishing new friendships. While Tareq revives his ties with his past, we get to travel Aleppo with him!Printed as an Arabic-Turkish bilingual book, Hadia is based on the story and graphics of the Sinem Sakaoglu’s short animation film of the same name. The printed book is now available to be shared free of charge with civil society organizations and community centers.
